Graphics Art Research Project
This research based project was conducted surrounding the question ‘To what extent did rave
culture unite Protestants and Catholics in Belfast during the troubles and how did the visual aspect
aid this?’ touching on the rise of the subculture in Northern Ireland, dance theory and 1990’s love buzz.
It includes interviews from DJ’s, a graphic designer and people who grew up raving during the troubles.
The research was redesigned into a 52 page publication sporting a green dominated colour scheme.
